You are what you eat

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for nature and its power to heal.

Before this way of life, I never thought I would escape what felt like a slow death sentence: 16 years of autoimmune disease, a liver transplant, colonoscopies, endoscopies, thousands of pills, and biologic infusions. All of that pain and disease I endured starting at 10 years old is now gone, and I feel like a completely new person who has never experienced a day of sickness.

How? All I did was eat plants…

We truly are what we eat. It pumps our blood. It builds our proteins. It allows us to see, breathe, speak, walk, and love. How can we expect to be alive by consuming dead animals and chemicals?

If we neglect our synchrony with nature, we cannot heal and thrive.

I woke up one day and realized the life I had was one built by a man riddled with disease. For me to be truly happy, healthy, and thriving, I needed to build a new body. It started from what I was eating and spread to every part of my lifestyle. I hope that my story can inspire you to discover the power of plants and this beautiful way of living.

Special thanks to everyone who has supported me or been a part of my journey as I couldn’t have done it without you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
